# Cricket

**General**

* If a ball is not bowled during a match, series or competition, or declared "No Result", then all bets will be voided except for those which can be determined already (eg. 'Toss Winner', 'Completed Match' markets).
* If a match is not completed due to inclement weather then BetDEX will settle according to the official result (including for limited overs matches, the result determined by the Duckworth Lewis method).
* If a match is started and later abandoned for reasons other than weather then BetDEX reserves the right to void all bets on these markets which have not already been determined. 
* If a match is postponed and reorganised within 5 days of the original then all bets will stand. If the postponed event is scheduled for over 5 days after the original start time then all bets will be voided (except for bets on any markets that have already been unconditionally determined such as, but not limited to, 'Toss Winner'). A new event will be opened to take bets. 
* For a limited overs match, in the event of a new toss taking place on a scheduled reserve day, any bets placed later than 30 minutes before the **original** scheduled start time will be void, except those that have been unconditionally determined (e.g. in the win the toss and toss combination markets).

**'Match Winner' market**

* If the match is tied and goes to a super over, or any other tie-breaker method that may be used to determine a winner, this market will be void. 
* For the avoidance of doubt, this includes, but not limited to, bowl outs, Super Overs, one-over eliminators, losing fewer wickets, run rates, coin toss, higher group position. None of these will count for the purposes of this market.

**Batsmen Markets**

* For any Top Batsmen markets, this market will be settled if at least one run has been scored from the bat by the named team. 
* Runs scored in Super Overs do not count for the purpose of this market. 
* Any player that is selected in the original starting XI but does not bat will be settled as a loser. 
* Any Substitute or Impact Player that faces at least one ball, will be settled. 
* Any bets on a Substitute or Impact Player that does not face a ball will be void. 

**Runs Lines Markets**

* "Over Line" (Buy) bets win when more runs are scored in the specified number of overs than the 'price' at which the bet is matched.
* "Under Line" (Sell) bets win when fewer runs are scored in the specified number of overs than the 'price' at which the bet is matched.
* Bets will be void, regardless of whether the outcome of the bet is already unconditionally determined, when any of the following are the case:
  * The scheduled number of overs for the innings is reduced by rain interruption and, at settlement time, the actual number of overs bowled is less than the number of overs stipulated.
  * The scheduled number of overs for the innings is reduced for any other reason after the innings has begun and at settlement time, that new number of scheduled overs is less than the number of overs stipulated. 
* Please note, if the batting side reach their target within the scheduled overs, or have been bowled out and the innings hasn’t been reduced in overs to less than the stipulated number at the head of the rules, the market will be settled. 
* For clarification, Runs Lines markets will be settled on the score achieved by the batting side at the conclusion of the stipulated over. This will include any extras or penalty runs awarded during that time. Any penalty runs added to a score after the completion of an innings will not count.
