Verification

Verification, often referred to as KYC ('Know Your Customer'), is a requirement of BetDEX as a licensed betting exchange that aims to reduce online fraud and other suspicious and criminal activities such as those relating to money laundering and terrorist funding.

KYC means that at some point and at certain thresholds, the customer may be asked to identify themselves using official documentation such as passports or drivers license, address information and, in some circumstances, bank statements or other proof of wealth documentation.
